Animal Blood Bank is the only veterinary blood bank that holds a biologics license for production of both feline and canine blood products. We have been inspected and approved by Agriculture Canada for import into Canada. Animal Blood Bank has pioneered methods that allow close adherence to human blood banking standards. ABB has developed and uses a multiple bag collection system for felines which is based on the closed bag system used in human blood banking. We use the same system for our canine friends that you would find if you went to donate your own blood. This attention to detail assures the same high quality standards for our feline and canine friends that we would expect for ourselves.
