Feline frozen plasma has a 5-year shelf life. Clotting factors V and VIII are not significant in frozen plasma.

    Feline RCBs have a shelf life of up to 35 days. 10 mL of A-S solutionis added back to the 20 mL of RCBs to extend shelf life.


  • Red Blood Cells........................................................ 20 mL

     

    Feline whole blood has up to 30 days of shelf life. Stored whole blood does not contain viable platelets.
